Mitosis: Advanced Look

Mitosis is one part of the larger Cell Cycle. Both mitosis and cytokinesis occur during what is known as the Mitotic Phase. In order to accommodate the larger number of stills contained in Advanced Look, the selected images have been grouped into pages that correspond with the division of this phase.

During mitosis the duplicated DNA in the nucleus is divided and forms two new nuclei.
